SAN DIEGO, CA – July 26, 2012 – App Developer touchbee Solutions today announced that their app musicr, is now available exclusively for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad on the App Store in the US. musicr is a new social networking mobile app, specifically designed for musicians. It helps local musicians by providing different tools to get in touch with each other and stay connected.

musicr is a mobile app, that provides a new way of bringing together musicians. Taking advantage of the phones location awareness feature, musicr can find musicians of any level that are close by. The app makes it very easy to search for new band members, people that just want to hang out to jam or students that are interested in practicing together.

The app tries to suggest best matching local musicians by looking at the musicians profile which includes what they are looking for, favorite music styles and what instrument they play.

“musicr was developed simply because there was no other app that was doing what we wanted. An easy way to find and get in touch with other local musicians while making it a fun experience. I truly think we have achieved that with musicr.”, said Stefan Immich, Founder of touchbee Solutions.

Furthermore musicians can share updates with their friends and see what others are saying and doing, like talking about an upcoming gig or making progress learning a new song. All those updates can easily be shared with Facebook friends. The app even allows to add information about the musicians instruments and upload photos to share with others.

musicr is now available for free and currently only available on the App Store in the US.
